What is SIDS?
“Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) or crib death is a syndrome marked by the sudden death of an infant that is unexpected by history and remains unexplained after a thorough forensic autopsy and a detailed death scene investigation. It has no sign or symptoms. Most deaths due to SIDS occur between 2 and 4 months of age, and incidence increases during cold weather. Studies show that more boys than girls fall victim to SIDS.
Other potential risk factors include:

* mothers younger than 20
